The Library of Things is a collection of non-traditional materials including equipment, gadgets, tools, games, kits, electronics, and more — all available to check out for free with a library card. Need something for a one-time project or want to try before you buy? Explore the collection and discover your next new Thing to borrow!
Patrons must be 18 years or older to check out an item from the Library of Things Collection. Patrons may check out 3 items per library card. Items can be checked out only on Adult cards. The items can be checked out for 2 weeks, there is a $1 late fee per day.
To check out items other than board games, stop by the Library and visit our Circulation Desk. There are cards that display each available item on the Circulation Desk. Choose the card with the item you would like and bring it to the Circulation Desk. Just like you would a book! Then, read and sign the borrower’s agreement for the item. Check the item out for up to 2 weeks. Clean the item and ensure all of the pieces are present before returning.
For board games, just grab the game you would like to check out and bring it to the Circulation Desk.
